  • "We couldn’t have had a better week. Jessica was an amazingly over the top host. The photos do not do her cottage justice. It’s breathtaking. All new stove, fridge and dishwasher. Chef’s kitchen with everything you’d need to make a gourmet dinner (groceries delivered to the door by Instacart). Gorgeous dock, beach and fire pit area. Friendly neighbours. Everything was perfect. Even in the midst of late July heat, the cottage was very comfortable and we actually had to pull up the blankets at night as the fresh cool midnight air blew in. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get away from the city and unwind. Can’t say enough. Thank you Jessica!"

  • "We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend on Fawn Lake. The cottage has all the amenities we could ask for, including an especially well equipped kitchen. The location of the cottage is great for exploring the area, being very close to both Bracebridge and Huntsville. We enjoyed lots of time out on the lake with excellent kayaks and other watercraft provided. Jessica was a fantastic host who was very responsive, provided a warm welcome, and gave lots of great local recommendations. I will definitely be looking to come back to beautiful Fawn Lake asap!"

  • My stay at Jessica's cottage was very relaxing. I went just myself and dog and had a great time. The cottage was exactly as described, and very clean on arrival. Even without A/C as the listing states, the cottage kept cool in the shade even when it got hot outside, no issues! We really enjoyed the private lake front and fire pit every night we could. I didnt use the water crafts available, but everything was set up and ready at the waterfront by Jessica if i did want to use it. The cottage is easy to get to, and being situated between Bracebridge and Hunstville gave us lots of opportunity to find a new hiking trail every day and visit the towns. I'm considering this booking again in the coming years to bring up my family for a stay, looking forward to it.

  • "We had a great stay. It was spotlessly clean and had a modern interior while still feeling like a cottage. We had unfortunate weather for 4/7 days (really cold and rainy) but we went in September knowing that could be the case. On those rainy days, we were really pleased with how close (and easy) it was to get to Bracebridge and Huntsville. We went with the kids to grab dinner once and a few times to a coffee/breakfast place. as well, the kitchen is well equipped! The cottage was great for young kids too (3 year old and 1 year old). Our 3 year old loved the water and on the nicer days, we spent the whole day out by the sandy beach. We also fished off the dock and caught a few sunfish much to the kids delight. Jessica was very responsive and a great host!"

  • "Absolutely beautiful place to stay and relax. House was truly a home away from home, with everything you could possibly need (it's better stocked than our own kitchen at home!) House was spotless and the bedrooms and living room were very comfortable. But the real star is the dock and the quiet lake. Kayaking and swimming were great. And it was nice for the kids to have the option to enter the water slowly from the sandy area. I'm not typically an early riser but the sunrise over the lake is worth waking up for! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family."
